Our music promotion division specializes in the staging of concerts which feature local and international urban gospel artists. We aim to bring the best international acts in the urban gospel music to the country and to host exquisite and timeless concerts. The aim of these concerts is not only to provide entertainment, but to also act as a form of outreach.

So far we have hosted two international acts: USA based Christian Hip Hop rapper Da’ T.R.U.T.H in 2010 and Flame in 2011. Both the concerts were a success and helped us see first hand that a niche market does indeed exists for this kind of music amoung the South African youth. The resounding message from these young people was that THEY WANT MORE!

The Unashamed Tour is an annual hip hop concert hosted by the 116 Clique, a culmination of highly innovative, diverse and musically refined Christian hip hop and rap artists, all of whom have had their albums and singles featured on the Billboard Charts and achieved success in their respective solo careers. Their aim is to inspire a healthy youth culture across the globe using music as a vehicle. Synonymous with their name, which is derived from the Bible scripture Romans 1:16, “I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God for salvation…,” the 116 Clique’s transparent, relatable, and encouraging lyrics are unapologetically evident of a biblical worldview free of profanity and offensive content. Each song carries a message that tackles real life issues and challenges young people to choose life and live meaningful, unashamed and pure lives free of drugs, promiscuity and violence.

The 7-member crew, signed to Reach Records, have received Grammy Nominations and won Stellar and Dove Awards.
